I have heard things about him. I generally like and trust you a lot more. But unfortunately your facebook kind of represents a gateway into that world that I want no part of.

41/32 here today with a current temp of 36 and flurries falling. Very chilly for the first of March.

For some reason this reminded me of how I've noticed Bend Airport's weather station hasn't been reporting precip correctly for awhile. We've had about 7" of snow this week with only .16" reported...and no our snow ratio hasn't been over 30:1. Duh.

Goes on vacation and spends more time here. I feel bad for his family.

I am doing it?   You are just attacking me.   Just comes across as bitter and lonely though.

Its all good. I did have a falling out of sorts with a few of your enemies over there. Though I don't think you are super cool with my new BFF the Yevkranian.

The direction of the precipitation is what is different with this storm. Now I know what to look for when looking for a big storm there. Killing me right now to be here and not there!!

Yup, I would imagine the southerly flow helps diminish the Cascade rain shadow. Then the terrain in the Colville region gradually rises as one moves north from the Columbia plateau, so cold onshore flow out of the SSW would really help enhance the orographic affect in that area.

Missing the biggest snow storm at my property in 4 years. My friend who is a mile from my cabin and same elevation has had 14 inches new since last night and another 8 or more expected. 35 inches on ground.

My friend in Twisp was posting big time snow accumulation pics on Facebook today, lots of places over there getting walloped!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

I might just have to mention the 00Z ECMWF if it also shows a sightly warmer and drier pattern later in the run.    Have to remember to show some maps as well this time!

I love throwing this place into total chaos with factual posts about actual weather data from the best model available.    ;)

The best time with my wife in the 27 years we were together was when we were poor and could barely make ends meet. Money does not by happiness and that is a fact. I would be the happiest man alive if I could have her back and be living in a car if I had too.

Sounds alright. I even saved some of last week's snow in my freezer for us in case it doesn't put out until pretty late.

We’re gonna have it set up so the radar is streaming in the lower right corner of the TV screen.
