TT-SEA
This is begging for a deweycastic remark. Its true though. We could be well below normal for rainfall all summer but if it was also a cloudy, cool marine layer fest then it would not dry out much at all here. That is exactly what happened in May and June this year. July is another story. Jesse
87 at SEA on the hour at 3... same as yesterday. It was pretty obvious the marine layer wasn’t going to make it in beyond the immediate coastal gaps today. Mid-80s in Whitefish this afternoon. We swam in the lake. Supposed to cool to the upper 70s to around 80 Thursday and Friday. Lows in the upper 40s to around 50 throughout.

Jesse
Is that near the continental divide triple point?Yup. Triple Divide peak is just a little south of the pass. The water on the east side of Logan Pass eventually ends up in the Arctic Ocean by way of Hudson Bay. I always find that mind blowing. Jesse
Nah, just messing with you. I was gonna say. The Willamette River flows north and no one really bats an eye. I think it has more to do with the fact that ~95% of rivers in the lower 48 end up in the Pacific or the Atlantic. Driving somewhere this far south that is part of the Arctic Ocean drainage is kind of cool.
