Big step back on the models for snow in the Seattle area over the next 5 days.  I'm done with this for the season.  Time to move on.

This just wasn’t our season. Even for the snow magnet Mossman. The 3-5 day range just teases us with possibilities that never materialize. Unless you live above 1,000 feet.

Yea throwing in the towel. Most places in the south sound have gotten less than 10inches of snow the last 5 winters combined. Brutal stretch of near misses. Last 5 years have sucked for snow wise.

I certainly wasn't suggesting that.

This one is super frustrating.  Airmass will easily be cold enough, but it just doesn't look like any decent precip is going to come at night.  Totally ridiculous when we are going to be in a trough for days.

Sorry, I know everyone is still trying to cope with the last three seconds of the EPS but BREAKING NEWS…

They were going to build an IN-N-OUT down here in Beaverton but the neighborhood complained and they axed the project. Ridgefield is a great area for them to build one because the Ilani casino is close by. Both businesses will feed off each other and it’s going to drive economic development in the area through the roof.

Economic development to what end? Is the average person’s life actually getting any better while they eat up every square inch of open space in left Clark County? Seems like it’s harder than ever to afford basic necessities or buy a home despite all the stellar economic development constantly going on. At least I won’t need to drive as far to wait in line 7 hours for some extremely overrated hamburgers, I guess. 🤷🏻‍♂️

But you too could get a double double animal style combo for $15...

The older I get, the further into the woods I want to go. I guess I'm just peasant that isn't easily placated by bread and circuses...

Getting some snow in the air on the backside of this shower at the school I work at. Too bad it didn’t come in during the early morning hours, but it’s nice to see some flakes today. Stuck at 36 degrees.

I  am 100% suggesting the last five winters have sucked for my area based off the potential and how other areas scored so close my area. 2-3in of snow per year is half of what it normally averages.

It will bring more jobs and that will lead to other positives.

And this is why we need to stop putting fluoride in our drinking water.

Wow that’s a beautiful picture with the sun and clouds in the background! What hiking trail is that?

Thanks! Couldn’t of asked for a better day to hike and the weather complimented it.

Power came back on. Winds are currently the strongest I have ever experienced in my life. I am guessing gust near 100mph currently. Everyone is group texting each other with Wtf is going on with the winds. My house is whistling like you hear in the old timey movies.  Alpine Meadows hit 167mph already. This is legit scary
