I went up there with some friends in the afternoon on the 23rd and it turned into one of the scariest experiences of my life. Barely any branches were breaking on our way up, but after a couple hours up there they started coming down all around us. A 60 foot tall tree fell right behind us on the path as we were starting down which really kicked us into gear. We ended up basically running down and had to go over like 10 fallen trees on the way with more branches and trees coming down all around us. It was awesome, but the sheer number of limbs coming down at once was pretty terrifying. 1 Quote Everett Snowfall (510 feet elevation) Snow since February 2019: 85" 2022-23: 17.5" 2021-22: 17.75" 2020-21: 14.5” 2019-20: 10.5" 2018-19: 24.75"

Front Ranger
And since there's been some non-winter pics posted...here's a few from the historic Sep 2013 floods. Both shots from inside the car were right after water had started to pour across the road. It was a little scary, since the water was clearly still rising and there was no telling how high it would get. Both times I got off the road and to higher ground quickly. Highway 36, the main highway that connects Denver to Boulder, was shut down shortly after I took the second pic. Of course, the worst flooding was well north of here and truly devastating. 1 Quote A forum for the end of the world.
