I'm just jumping into the storm again after giving up a few days back, but it sounds like the snows would be pushed further north.

 

Wondering if someone else can confirm.

 Not gonna be a big deal because intial surge is what giving IL/IN such large accums. That has been modeled correctly. Just this left-over stuff now in NE/KS/MO may end up furthur north than progged does not mean will end up seeing more.

That snow report for KC is MCI which is an hour north of where I live. I can tell you for a fact that more than 5 inches has fallen. Will get measurement when snow ends.

Snow expected for next 15-18hrs that be sad if we can't break 4 inches. I think at least along the lake will get around 5-6 inches and 3-4 inches out west.

Looking at the radar, it appears the Lake is already having an influence on radar reflectivity in Cook County.  The flakes falling right now overhead are not grainy but a little bigger.

ORD with 0.3" at 6pm. I think it's been snowing about 2 hours, so I gotta chuckle at that. Dat 0.15" per hour rate! Lol

The snow coming now I think is an added bonus, it wasn't supposed to start till after 8:00pm.  Hopefully around midnight the intensity starts picking up with the added lake moisture.

Yeah looks great over there. I would not be surprised to see some 14-16 amounts when all done.
