Fairbanks hit -43. Now down to -15 departure for the month. Juneau has hit at least -7 this morning, breaking the record of -3 from 1972. Currently the coldest December there since 1977, but they should pass that in the next day or two. Then it will be the coldest since 1964, which is their coldest December in the airport era.

Perpetual if only this would drop southeast at 270 hours. At least it’s close I guess.

Two more weeks of this

I hope it holds this way for 18z and 00z tonight. I wonder what led to the dramatic change. Weird....
