Wow Chinook pass. 35 inches of snow in 24hrs. 162 on the ground!!! Incredible

Oodles and oodles of wind reports for GRR sandwiching the scant few snow reports. Farwell is a little south of Harrison and this matches what I was figuring with my estimation coming into town this evening. It was at least 34F and the snow is solid concrete like the first hit in November often is. I did see drifts in the freeway median in the open area just west of Houghton Lake which is a novelty. The major upside of it getting above freezing was my car was just wet - no scraping or snow removal.

0z NAM should def be a bit north with the track compared to 18z

0z HRRR takes the low up to about Milwaukee area. Def the farthest north out of all the models which is to be expected
