Skier B
Yup. March 1989 was a thing of beauty. Widespread 8 to 12 inch accumulations. On March 1st 1989, the snow was supposed to quickly turn to rain but never did. It was my Freshman year at Highline High and I would call Harry Wappler's weather line at KIRO News in-between classes in the school office eagerly awaiting for his updates. It was music to my ears after he admitted his forecast busted and the snow would continue through the night. The snow started sticking to the roads in the late afternoon leaving twelve inches behind the following morning. Great event!
Geos
Up to 27.6. The little bit of wind out there is helping to mix the atmosphere just a bit and warm it up despite the cloud cover. Watching the dew point leveling off at around 21 right now. RGEM thru late tomorrow. A model that actually could verify based on the fact that it usually one of the colder ones. 1 Quote Mercer Island, 350 ft 2021-2022: 11.6", 02/21 2020-2021: 15.6" 2019-2020: ~10" 2018-2019 winter snowfall total: 29.5" 2017-2018: 9.0", 2016-2017: 14.0"
