Here are the temperatures the 00z GFS is showing for the 7th and 8th at 5pm both days. The high temperatures could possibly be a degree or 2 higher than this. Temperatures explode to around 90 on Monday and then low 90s on Tuesday for both SEA and PDX.

Nice to see the 00Z GFS delaying any high end warmth to hour 216 and beyond.....and it shows a nice crash coming pretty quickly after that.

Sunny and mild here all day but clouds started rolling in with the sunset. Hopefully we can pick up a bit of rain with the bands swinging through tomorrow morning. The meso-scale models look decent but the GFS not so much. It does help having offshore flow aloft in this area.

Our mud up here was starting to look quite stressed...has bounced back to quite the lush moist brown look today however! Bullet dodged!

Starting the day with rain here in Victoria. I'd rate this month an "A" for weather. We finally pulled off above average rain in a warm season month, with over 30% more than last April. There have been less shadowing days than last April, but overall it's been well rounded with plenty of sunny afternoons mixed in and a heat wave followed by a substantial crash to top it off. Only thing that could have made it better would be a thunderstorm, though one did pass pretty close by earlier in the month.
