Based on that report of 10 inches from North Bend... it appears that there was no difference out here due to elevation.    We have about 10 inches up here as well.

Didn’t Jesse just post that they look about as good as they did a few days ago when they looked epic?

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Nice... I was wondering how you did up there.   You might have quite a bit more coming too.

6.2" here. Still dumping.

Impressive.

Not sure why Fred did not have more in Everett.    Seems like its all been heading that way once it passes you.

Down to just flurries here.

Which in Canada seems to mean heavy snow. Saw a forecast in Whistler when we were there for "flurries" with accumulation of 15-20cm. Which is like 6-8 inches.

Just looked out the window for the first time since 4:30...probably around 8” inches and still coming down at quite the pace! Amazing! I was thinking that I might get an inch additional last night but I was worried that I might be a tad too far north and the northerlies would have dried me out too much...glad that isn’t the case!!

Looks like a picked up about an inch, I would like to say the euro wn, but I’m not giving it the win since it pulled back at the last second greatly to do it. The icon actually showed the precip here better than any model.

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure how this was going to play out, but my location was able to squeeze out a lot of precip. We'll be on the edge of the dband all day. A slight shift or if its a little stronger than expected and there will be a big snow dump. The NAM shows about 2-3" overnight tonight.

Shouldn’t have trusted the HRRR, that’s for sure

Models still showing a deformation band for PDX, well done to them. They really showed how good they were, as did the NWS Portland.

Not.

Why downplay the upcoming pattern?

Just disappointing that is all.

For someone who says they don't care about snow you are awfully butt hurt about getting dry slotted...

Oh please. You are sitting with 6”+ of snow right now. The Puget Sound is getting hammered with significant cold and snow and we are entering a period ripe with potential. You are just being a typical sleety Andrew. ;)

Never said that, I only said I care about wind more. And Puget Sound has this far won in both aspects.

Remember all snow that falls will eventually melt. ;)
