westMJim
Good morning. Here at my house I recorded 1.53” of rain as of 7AM (note the above records are as of 12 midnight and thus are for October 26th) The official H/L at Grand Rapids yesterday was 51/31. For today the average H/L at GRR is 56/39 the record high is 78 set in 1927 and the record low is 19 set in 1976. Last year the H/L was 48/37.

Niko
As far as the Halloween storm, it looks pretty impressive. Could have good amts of rainfall w this system: Large upper level trough deepening over the western half of the N.A.will setup a quasi stationary boundary over the western Great LakesTuesday lasting through the end of the week. This will produce achance for rain Tues/Wed with better chances Thursday and Friday asa strong wave dropping through the base of the trough spins up alarge low pressure system over the southern Plains that will lifttowards the Great Lakes. At this time, the main low system looks tostay west of the CWA keeping the area on the warm side and precipmainly rain. 2 Quote Snowfall for Winter 2023 -24 for Metro Detroit Area Oct 2023: 0.2" AN Nov 2023: 2.2" AN Dec 2023: 0.5" BN Insane! I'm usually the type of guy that waits till there is a sufficient amount of leafs down. l'll likely wait till next weekend after the Halloween system to rake my yard.
