Sunset is so ridiculously early this time of year. Typically the days are warmer now than in March when we go back to DST. Tonight's sunset of 4:47 PM is about the same as December 23 thanks to the Equation of Time.

Already down to 43F, in downtown LA its 59F. The Santa Maria Valley is like the arctic compared to LA! The low was 34F this morning.

Not as chilly last night here compared to what it’s been. The nighttime temps in the Santa Maria Valley are really freaky. Our low was more like 52 and our high was around 73.

Still one of the chilliest Novembers I can remember in a while.

I’ll take this weather over almost any day in summer.

Temperatures so far this November have been comparable to those of early March.

In the Novembers of 2017, 2018 and 2021 at my weather station, it never dipped below 40 degrees even once, where this month it has already done so four times and we're only half way through the month.

Edit: Make that five times this month. 5:30 AM and 38 degrees currently.
