Meh. Toronto has had an above freezing high 21 of the last 30 days. Facts are facts.

A good chunk of the Midwest has been warmer than average since 12/1, the start of met winter. Minneapolis is running a +9 MTD departure and Kansas City is +11.5 this month . Characterizing this winter as cold for them thus far is definitely misleading.

This is an easy one for me. It would be somewhere around Michigan City/South Bend. That area averages a lot more snow than me (60-70" ; I think South Bend averages 65") and can get lake effect snows of 2+ feet every once in a while. And their thunderstorm frequency is similar to mine, which is important because I do like my tstorms/severe wx.

Nah prolly not. That reeks of weak onshore flow and probably low-mid 90’s. Do better, atmosphere.
