At least 6” in his backyard. I measured 1.75” about 10 minutes ago.

Hell no lol. Not even close. It was an hour of "bliss" as they say. Definitely not what I expected though. Most areas in Lincoln and Omaha probably won't reach 3 inches tonight.

I don't know, the way that thing moved so fast was discouraging. Should at least see lighter snow until 3 AM or a bit later. The temperature near 10 is working to our benefit

Real fatties coming down now. Too bad this seems like just a squall now.

According to the City of Lincoln, these are intermittent flurries. They'll do anything to not plow lol.

No, seriously.

 

"Intermittent snow flurries have begun to enter the area. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 a.m. Saturday. Two to four inches of snow are expected. Twenty City crews are patrolling emergency snow routes, arterial streets, school and bus routes, treating roads with granular salt pre-wet with liquid brine. Crews will continue patrolling and reassessing streets as the winter weather moves into the area. Additional crews are on standby."

I’m all for bashing inadequate govt situations but it seems like they are out plowing etc

They said nothing about plowing on there. They always brine streets. Even for freezing fog. They're stingy about plows for whatever reason.

Omaha isn’t that bad. Everyone bashes them but they do an overall good job

Eh I'll beg to differ. I've been to Omaha after snow multiple times and I almost got stuck in my Elantra. I'd even go ahead and say they're worse than here.

 

I get no city is perfect when it comes down to snow operations. Except Logan, IA. They're pretty good.

Certain areas are better then others. It just depends on who lives in that certain neighborhood. If someone knows someone from the city in a neighborhood...expect the plow to come through an hour after it starts snowing. Other neighborhoods it could takes a week lol

      All this post tells me is that you have a lot of research to do on this topic. A lot. I like what Coleman Hughes says about color blindness, as hawks pointed out, but as I looked around his X profile and watched his interviews about Israel, he has glaring holes in his understanding. He does not have any knowledge of the historical motives from both sides, the political situations, the cynical bargaining, the ultimate goal of the far-right in Israel, the tactics used by the IDF, the cover the U.S. provides Israel in the UN, the lack of accountability the IDF has, the treatment of Arab Israelis, the treatment of Gazans, the rights taken away, the bulldozed cemeteries, the mass graves, the torture of innocent people, the shooting/bombing of their own hostages, the outright lies taken as truth, the international laws broken, the ultra nationalist groups in the IDF and their horrific actions, the intentional killing of journalists, the bastardization of the term "Anti-Semitic", the labeling of Jews who object to Israel's actions as "Self-hating", the labeling of Pro-Palestinian protestors as "Pro-Hamas"... none of it. He does not know what he is talking about. He only thinks he does. That makes me not respect him. He is a wannabe Hitchens or Rushdie minus all the context and raw knowledge. It's a genocide.
