It might stay in the 30s around Seattle today.   WRF was way too fast moving the system out.   Its just crawling along.

I suspect Sunday will similar to today in Seattle... cold, dark, and damp.

With off and on snow showers? I think most people would be fine with that.

Was thinking the same thing. 35 degrees with huge flakes coming down pretty good here at school in Mountlake Terrace.

Pretty D**n impressive for 12:30 PM on November 3rd.

They almost always make that mistake with these systems spinning down from the NW. They usually get hung up longer than modeled. In this case, that worked in our favor as it kept precip going while still letting the cold air in.

Everett Snowfall (510 feet elevation)

I guess so... not really a nice snow day though.   Going to be downright miserable at the Seahawks game.

Really awful historic pattern we are in.

Awful ridge beforehand as well!

I am just going by tangible weather... not the timing.   Its raw and damp out there... about the same as rain now.

Hard to say...that system will be moving in a bit differently than the current one has, and will have plenty of cold air already in place to draw from. May also move through quicker.

Either way, I'm sure most fans will be tickled if they get to experience a Seahawk's game live and it's snowing. Pretty rare experience.

There was a game vs the Packers back in like 2006 that had snow and I know the Jets game was crazy snowy during the legendary 2008 event.

I am not sure they will be "tickled"... only the true weather geeks!  It will probably be the same as sitting there in drizzle for 3 hours.  ;)

The 12Z ECMWF shows Sunday morning being almost identical to this morning... the only difference is that its slightly warmer at the 925mb level on Sunday afternoon compared to this afternoon.

Yeah, pretty sure those are the only two that have been played in the snow. Though I think there might have been one last year with a few flurries around.

Flash freeze game in 2006 was pretty fun!

Snowing downtown. Pretty amazing for first week of Nov

Very different scenes in downtown... just slight elevation changes make a difference.

These cameras are all within a mile of each other.

Relax, it's going to be in the upper 40s-low 50s here.  You'll be fine.

Most people I know would think being at a Seahawk game while it was snowing would be cool.

But Tim has weird friends who wish Seattle had a California climate. He always talks about all the people he knows who complain about the rain, and just love endless dry streaks and heat.

Most people don't care that much about weather.

Ah, I guess this answers my question on the other page. :)

Excited to have a poster here from Polk County nonetheless. Underrepresented area. I’m sure you’ll get some fun this winter, that’s a great cold air damming location with the right pattern.
