Jesse
I believe it is a new daily record if it should stand.Yeah, beat out 2006’s 38. I would rather have seen a 20th century record fall since the 2000s already have so little cold record representation as it is. I do think 1957’s 37 tomorrow and 1942’s 41 on Friday could also be in jeopardy, potentially. The 34 on 2/22/57 is probably unbeatable for Thursday though. Front Ranger
Family down near Eatonville says they have gotten 3 inches today after getting 3 inches on Sunday. I swear they live in a snow-belt down there... they are always getting on the high end of snow totals. That, or they're just pulling my leg. Well, they are at 800'. Perturbed Member
Mark still standing by his 2-5 inches but he might be starting to sweat. I do think that stuff on the Langley hill radar starts to hit the metro in the next hour just around sun down. HIO is reporting all east winds now. "All of our weather forecast models show a burst of moderate to heavy snow 5 & 10pm this evening. We're counting on that to give us at least 2" in most of the metro area. In general we expect 2-5" totals once the snow ends around midnight. In the hills up around 1,000'. 1-3" is on the ground from this morning; so that means up to 8" could be on the ground by the Wednesday AM commute.SNOW ENDS AFTER MIDNIGHT"
