wxmet
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the 3km NAM nailed the CZ scenario today just like it nailed the zero snow we got on Friday night. Hopefully the past week will put to bed those "It's just the NAM and it totally sux lolz" posts. 3km NAM doesn't show the convergence zone getting into the metro unfortunately. snow_wizard
The models were off on the timing of the zone. They had it fading at the time it's just getting good. Huge advantage since we have colder air now. Maybe all of King County can get in on it, but I'm still far from sure on that. Nice to know the Zone is still too complicated for the models to resolve accurately. I like to know surprises are still possible. Quote Death To Warm Anomalies!
