Euro definitely takes things in a different direction.

 

Much flatter with the ridging throughout, fairly cloudy weekend, then a big trough about to drop on us at day 10.

To me, this is like a snowstorm showing up in the models being with replaced with 47 degree rain...

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

A good quick thunderstorm passed through K-Falls. I have video of a hailstorm and close thunder. Doubt it caught any flashes, I was trying not to get hit by hail chunks. Some hail was about small marble sized (1/2").

 

Interesting because just a few hours ago it was snowing in the upper 30's. I think it was mid-40's when this rumbler came through.

It's just one run. It still gets pretty warm days 9 and 10. The trough is not going to drop down on us. It's going to slide east.

 

 

No I disagree I think it’s going to drop down and hit us directly because of the position of the ridge and my gut says so and I want it to.

Had a nice hike on the Clackmas River trail. Started out with a moderate rain shower, then became partly sunny for a few hours. After that the clouds progressively darkened.

 

By the time we got back to the car it was raining hard, then started hailing. There were also a couple lightning strikes and some very loud thunder. Fun!
