You are being unnecessarily rude. I would like to think you could disagree with my interpretation of the models the next few weeks without making a jab at my mental health. I expect that stuff from Matt but not you.

You have questioned Tim's on numerous occasions, Mr. McPerfectpants.

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Tbh, I sort of went time traveling last night, and I’m not all the way back yet. I’m sorry if I’m being a bigger d**k than I realize.

Did you time travel to the first blizzard warning in Willamette Valley history?

Was talking to Phil. He is overreacting to my interpretation of the models being different than his.

You are twisting it up to be bigger than it is, though. We should all know by now Phil is a broad stroke guy. He does a great job with major features, which is about the best you can expect weeks in advance.

Wow, so apparently 1.02” of that rain fell in just 3mins.

I’ll have to upload the video here. I knew it was coming down harder than usual, but I never realized it was that heavy.

That's crazy. Don't know if I've experienced rain rates quite that high in the Midwest. Nice 70 degree dew points there!

If I were you I'd always be so happy in the weather department. Couldn't imagine what it's like to look at the models and always see them trend your way.

First of all... the 18Z run will not verify.

And it seems like things rarely break my way most of the year.

Lol. Good one

Its true.

January - April of this year was more persistently wet here than any other year this decade.    We were due some dry weather here in May and it came as expected.   About time something worked out for me!

These tropical systems can do crazy s**t. A similar airmass in 1956 dumped 1.23” of rain in just 1 minute in Unionville, MD.

So this wasn’t even remotely close to that. Sort of funny, since I was talking about that record just yesterday, IIRC.

65/51 at PDX today.

Looks like 1992 keeps the title for record warm May there. We came d**n close though.

Global cooling. We can no longer keep up with the 1990s.

Thought some of you here might enjoy this so I'll post this photo of the severe warned storm that tracked right over my house this afternoon. Awesome structure and hail color which resulted in nickel size hail and strong winds. Lots of damaged cars this afternoon... :(

Another rainy evening here... appears to have stopped now.

Ended May below normal for rainfall... but had precip on 14 out of 31 days.
