Looks like I'm in a great spot for this band. Only 2" so far for the event but I think that'll change soon

This band dumped 2” here in a little over an hour. Still coming down at the moment.

I'm so glad it could verify for you! And it's just getting started man. After the BS you'd dealt with this last year, go out there and embrace it. Life doesn't get better than this for "our kind"... :)

Glad to see we could get some more accumulations tonight. How much do you think I could see total? I've got 2" so far

Models are continuing to verify too strong and too far south with this low, as well as too dry. The error corrections on the HRRR over the last 8 hours illustrate this move north/weaker. Precip depiction is completely lost in its own world.

This is going to continue for another 6+ hours, potentially much longer.

Some gorgeous pics and scenes coming out of PDX, you guys deserve it.

I only got a measly trace here but I hope the Sound gets our 8”+ this weekend and overperforms, just cautiously optimistic but more on the excited side.

It's amazing how long that low has stalled over the northern Oregon Coast. Yeah this could last 6-12 more hours.

So are we looking at a solid deformation shield from basically Roseburg all the way up to Portland?
