Live cam from Issaquah... you can see how much higher the sticking snow level is on the east side of the Sound.   Looks the same here with snow covered trees much higher than my backyard on the ridge behind our house.

Makes sense from what I've seen here overnight

Lake Cushman is what, 500–1000' elevation in the heart of the Hood Canal snow belt? Of course they got something.

When even @MossMan is struggling to get so much as mixed precipitation, the event is lame.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Didn’t really get too close here. About 800ft snow level. This was at 1200’ this morning.

Wow... that is crazy.   Offshore flow is not a problem down there.

They should of got MUCH more. They are 1000ft. I used to live up there so I know the climate up there. Normally this pattern would bury them like every single model shows.  Not over up there though.

West side event. Snowing here, but it’s right around freezing, not really sticking on trees or other surfaces without snow, slushy accumulations on the cars.

12Z GFS... snow yet to fall from now through tomorrow morning.     I looked back at the 00Z run just for fun and it showed that all of King County should have 3-6 inches of snow on the ground right now.   It really struggles with surface temps and the drying effect of offshore flow in these situations.

There won't be any sticking snow here from around noon to 5pm. This airmass just isn't cold enough for day time sticking snow for lower elevation.

Just not really a great setup for march the next few days. Pattern doesn’t have the juice to give the needed precip rates. Looking for a pattern change, maybe we can get a nice cold trough in here towards the end of the month that actually has some decent moisture to work with.

Front window view here... mid level clouds are thick but no low level moisture and visibility is good.

The radar has been strange even here. Much of the night when there was green overhead  there was very little snow or rain falling and normally green is pouring rain or snow.

I’m up here just up the hill from the state park at Lake Cushman. We have about 8.5” so far. Coming down hard and current temp 31.8. About 5” of that has accumulated since 330am

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Dumping here and still 32 degrees. 1.5 inches. If dewpoint was lower and it was .5 degrees colder I'd have 5 inches.

Interesting morning here, one minute I look out the window and it’s all rain, then 20 seconds later it’s all snow, then a mix, then all rain again and that just keep repeating lol. 35 degrees.

That’s funny that’s exactly where I am right now. About 3 lots off 119

If you hang a right off 119 and look to the left you will see the place. Has a decent size garage.  The house had a huge deck built all around it and the house is 2 story but really small.
