CFS shows the northeast getting all the fun mid March on, which they deserve since it's been such a crappy winter over there.

Does this count as part of my Pepto? My wife caught me taking a close up pic of the deck and asked me why…I said it was for my forum friends…I feel like she is inching closer to having me committed to the Smokey Point mental health facility.

12Z NAM keeps the precip mostly to the west and south of King County... but goes nuts in the Portland area.

Low will need to track south for this to verify. Too much onshore flow has kept portland from seeing sticking snow down to lowest levels over past few days. But a more southern track would certainly introduce more of a threat.

SW wind gusting to almost 40 mph over the last hour at SEA.    Wind is roaring here too with a few peaks of sun at times.

Had a trace of snow this morning. Well a little more than a trace but not quite .10 so a "trace." It was enough that I needed to clear the car in the morning. I see a few fluries now but everything is melted.

12Z ECMWF is a big step back for King and Pierce counties on Friday night and Saturday morning.   Less precip is the issue.    Still looks great for the Hood Canal though.

Total snow through Saturday at 4 p.m. 

One note... more than half of what is shown in Pierce County comes before 4 p.m. tomorrow and that just doesn't make sense.

Just think...it used to be an empty field before it was built maybe five or six years ago It looks really nice from the outside...the inside.... you'll have to find out. Lol.

I think even if you moved there, you'd still find a way to have your own convergence zone. Haha kidding. I always wonder if we crossed paths during the five or so years I lived in Stanwood/Camano.

Yea this is expected tbh. I don’t expect any snow in King or northern Pierce County.

The ECMWF is really the only model that’s been bullish on that CZ tomorrow. It’s been so consistent it’s hard not to trust it. The NAM has one (albeit not as strong) but it’s more south (sorry Randy) I’ll gladly take that!!

I definitely trust the ECMWF much more in this situation

A week ago people were saying I should be stocking up on supplies and my area would be buried by now.   But the 2 inches of snow that has fallen in the last week did not trap us in our home.

12Z ECMWF goes all warm and wet by late next week.   Seems like most logical progression.
