Very interesting to see it’s cold enough to snow where I’m at close to the water (am at 400ft or so though) just pretty snow flurries hopefully it gets more interesting tonight. Temps dropped from 39 to 37 after it started as rain

Radarscope is encouraging. Will be interesting to see how well this matches up with the actual obs. The animation showed a flip over from what was initially rain to snow in the Tacoma and Federal Way area.

PDX has dropped to 34 with snow, visibility down to 1.5 miles, they would definitely be getting some accumulation now if this were before 8am or after 5pm.

 

Still impressive to see in the late morning in March.

I’m hoping they can stay at or below 38 for a high. Would make this the coldest March day since 1993 I believe. And the coldest day this late in the season since I don’t know when.

There's definitely much more of an upslope component now vs earlier, I can just tell by how much heavier and steadier the snow is.
