CentralNebWeather
We ended here with about 5 inches of combinations of every frozen precipitation possible. Had alot of hail or sleet before the heavy snow moved in. Our school was closed on Thursday along with almost every school district from Kearney westward. Fortunately we built in enough days so we don't have to makeup any time. Our last day of school is May 16th. County roads are a mess, so our school district did not send out the 5 or 6 busses that go out in the country to pick up kids. Most farm families have 4 wheel drive vehicles and can get to paved roads. However, if they couldn't make it today, their absence was not held against them.
