I love videos like this.   Looks like June 20th was lovely back in 1988!   That was a 75/53 day up here but a less than ideal 4th of July was coming.  I recently came across a video of someone driving 405 from SEA to Bothell back in 1983.    It was interesting seeing how much its changed and in some ways has not changed... but I was also looking at the weather and the specific date and then looking ahead at what would happen for those people next.    😃

This would be impressive if it verified. It would make it one of the wetter months (especially Januaries) I've ever had at this location.

I just watched one from June of 1987 where the person drove southbound from Smokey Point to Everett. Memories! Trees instead of the Tulalip Casino, and the ThunderBird drive in between McDonalds and Roy Robinson Chevy in Marysville. I remember when the parents would load us up in the 1972 Chevy Impala with the peeling vinyl roof and take that special trip to McDonalds once a month, and while we were in the drive thru you could see the movie playing at the Thunderbird!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

I just watched that one after you mentioned it... another beautiful day on 6/25/87 and the grass along the freeway was surprisingly brown already.

Nah, you'd get drowned out pretty quickly by LongIslandTim and BeltwayBuster pretty quickly as they need to know how much snow they are getting and why those seven extra inches of model fluff qualify it as a HECS.

I don't hate this

Looks like a CA special. It is possible to get a minor snow event with a weak system out of the south with some offshore flow and evaporate cooling. If enough cold air makes it west.

As long as this builds snow pack I'm cool with it.

Sometimes I wonder if Phil is even in Maryland. Maybe it’s a double reverse psychology and he’s really here somewhere. I mean, why does someone care so much about what’s happening here 3000 miles away?

This makes me sad. 15 years and some of you guys still misread my heart and personality. :( I’m used to it now so it doesn’t bother me as much, but it still sucks. Lol

But then again, I posted under a false identity for 5 years so I should expect it. I was 16 years old when I joined the forums and I’m not sure whether it was attention seeking behavior or fear of not fitting in, but whatever the reason, it was some stupid s*** and it follows me to this day. Deservedly so.

I wanted so badly to “come out of the closet” so to speak and admit the whole thing for years but it was so stupid and embarrassing that I never mustered the courage in time.

As they say, you reap what you sow. Fair is fair.

You pretended to live in the area for years?

I masqueraded living in western MD, amongst other things.

I laugh whenever I think back to that. So ridiculous.

Still not seeing AAM drop on EPS weeklies but suspect that will come into focus sometime in mid-Feb (-dAAMt starts 2/15-20?).

Question Cascadia?

I’m just not seeing the potential for a cold pattern on that frame. Appreciate the enthusiasm but I think there’s room for growth here in terms of pattern interpretation.
