It's healthy to get sunshine Andrew.  And warm days like this mean you don't have to be bundled up thereby increasing the health benefits.

I remember someone a couple days ago was mocking Mark Nelsen for having 77F on his 7 day forecasts.

And summer has never started in March.  Just brief tastes of warmth for now.   That is what makes them special.

Two of my dogs are Great Pyrenees, this is about as warm as they can tolerate. But they are doing OK for now. They truly love the snow and cold and refuse to come inside when there is snow on the ground.

Seriously though, I remember as a child, not sure of the year, somewhere between 1991-1994. The first 80 degree day of spring. The excitement, running down to the ditch and jumping in "the deep part," feeling the cool water against my skin, the muddy clay between my toes. It was glorious.

76 and absolute heaven at my sons place in salem currently, the grandkids are loving this weather. Great tennis/golfing weather too!

60 with a high of 62 at my home station, glad to be somewhere 16 degrees warmer than home!

Wow!  I was looking through the record highs for SEA for March and April and had totally forgotten about the heat blast in April 2016.  4 consecutive 80+ with a peak of 89 on the 18th.  That could be as nuts as June 2021 for the date.

I don't think explains the drought declaration though.  Drought is based on how much precip actually falls.

I agree. Seems overexposed. Although summer temps are usually cooler than official stations. A lot of stations around me did hit 80 though.
