If the thing had decided to keep intensifying it could have been a huge event for Seattle. As it is the 18z GFS makes the storm look like nothing by the time it hits Vancouver Island. It keeps going back to that. Yes... and its very reliable as been established. When it flips around between 3 possible scenarios (cold, warm, and normal) its definitely worth discussing to keep your psyche soothed. It is VERY meaningful when it shows cold.
