yeah it's very affordable for what you get (nice houses on big lots). Some parts of IP are served by fiber. You're also only an hour from Rexburg, which has all the big box stores.

Oh yeah it's ridiculously snowy. This year, IP seems to be crushing it compared to the other side of Targhee Pass. Btw, we were talking about microclimates the other day -- maybe you'd like the Star Valley in Wyoming. It's pricey, but not quite as bad as the Flathead imo, and way better than Jackson Hole.
