Ngl I'd be happy even if we could just get some really crazy runs for several days that then gets rug pulled violently into a nothingburger around day 4 or 5. We've had so much "ehhh, it's close but not quite there" kind of stuff this year, but almost no serious eye candy. 90% of my snow related dopamine comes from the model riding, so that would still be pretty fun for me

Mountains will get snow, no doubt. Snow line will drop to 500-1000’ for a few days, I’m sure of that.

Well.... meh. I am cautiously optimistic, but see nothing at the moment on the models that inspires much confidence. If we can at least manage cold onshore flow to begin to build the mountain snowpack that would be great. Of course a ridge at ~150 W would be far more exciting, 00z GFS in 45 minutes
