I have had this backup/surge protector for a few years for our Starlink, has about 40 minutes of backup time, plenty of time for uninterrupted service while I get the generator in place and running. We are pretty much cut off without it as cell service is almost zero at our house.

I’ve been wondering about long term. I don’t think the house will regularly get water like this. Last winter we never had any water down there whatsoever. Seems like more of an extraordinary situation with the amount of rain we’ve gotten. I’m thinking about just getting the pump and get a garden hose and then build like a dry well far out in my backyard. I know people will bury lines and all that but from what I’ve seen I never get water like this regularly under the house. It’s always been dry under there. I figured there might be a problem when I saw 6” of water in my front yard.

We are rowing the same soggy boat, friend! Second time ours has flooded. This time it wasnt high enough to reach the duct work and insulation though, thankfully. That was an $8,700 repair I don't want to have to make again.
