Dang it Kayla, if you are moving you are going to have to post in the Mountain West thread because no one wants to hear about how its snowing at your place in September.  :P

Im gonna lose my upper west hills PIC!

Yeah or June for that matter! May and June are decently snowy months there as the moisture becomes a bit more abundant then with cold air lingering. Snow in June will be a bit odd though I must say.

Looking forward to joining Flatiron and others over on the Mountain West thread!

This is a prime example of you being an a** Tim. It isn't like you are taking someone to task, but much like some of your other posts, you make these statements like some petulant child with some kind of grudge against a fellow third grader.

Ridiculous.

We make forecasts... passionately.      Going back and scoring the results without insults should be completely acceptable.    It certainly happens to me when I make a bad forecast.  In fact... Phil went back in May and found my post from February to tell me that I busted.   And that appeared to be the case at the time.   I was not offended at all.   But it ended up being mostly right.

Remember when that big blue bowling ball offshore was gonna be our reload? That was fun.

Fun while it lasted.

Some lowland snow is back on the 12Z ECMWF for the northern areas (even down to King County) by next Monday afternoon after a robust and rainy warm up on Saturday night into Sunday.

Map or it's not real

Gets even further south overnight Monday.

48-hour snow totals through Tuesday morning...looks great for Vancouver Island as well.

Visible satellite is pretty interesting this morning with respect to snow cover.

Can you see PuyallupJon blowing a hairdryer on his thermometer from up that high?

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

That is awesome. The Euro at 10 looks like a repeat of the current evolution. Split northerly flow converging to the north and about to send energy into the GOA as the Alaskan block reemerges.

At least the cold keeps coming back this winter. Still seeing no signs of a prolonged mild period.
