Been snowing since early yesterday morning here. Really amazing and strange. Not on radar, very low level stuff. Picked up 7" since yesterday morning and most of it today. Temp 14 and a strong storm is imminent.

Currently visiting family in the swap for New Years (belated). This is my grandmothers place off of 104th St E & Meridian. Thermometer on her back porch says 37 degrees No melting. Wth

 

UP on the hill?  Hell that is more than I got!  -- Puyallup Valley is where PJ lives.  The hill is like 500 to 700' depending on your location...

Certainly has been strange. Hasn't been too heavy at any point, not big flakes. Just light small snowflakes for nearly the last day. 6" new so far in Bend, got some shoveling to do before the next snow.

 

On another note, why do people with snow blowers only blow their property? A few of my neighbors have one and just do their own property, the rest of us with shovels will help each other out.

Because they are lazy, that is why the shelled out big bucks for something they could do with a $10 shovel.

If I had a snowblower or snow removal machine of some sort I would be doing the entire neighborhood! Mainly because it would mean I would be out playing in the snow...with machines! But also I try to be neighborly helpful!
