Went to bed with about 6" of snow on the ground, 34f rain. Woke up to patchy snow, pouring and 50f! It's been awhile.

2.4" of rain in West Salem since yesterday morning. Concrete patio (under full cover) is sopping wet. That's what happens when the temp jumps to 58f and the dew point jumps to 53f. Cold concrete=condensation paradise.

Just went for a walk for lunch, and I am sweating...it is so friggin hot out there!!!!   

 

 

In all seriousness it went from 35-36 to 46 in less than an hour according to my weather station.  I walked past a green space surrounded by trees (sheltered from the wind) and there is about 3 feet of fog hanging over the snow.

 

Definitely a "tropical" feel to the air.

Been around 60 degrees here most of the day.  Feels warmer than that.  I just heard the first frog of the year.  Ribbit!

Pretty calm up here at work but I heard it has become quite windy in parts of Snohomish Co and I just heard all of Lake Goodwin is out.
