Front Ranger
The rain-free streak lives on at SEA. Not even a trace. PDX did manage a T. Jesse
Definitely looking like our most prolific stretch of warm nights this summer thus far coming up Saturday-Tuesday. Highs 85-90 those days too. Will probably preclude a below average July in the western lowlands.
TT-SEA
Dewpoint around 80 at Des Moines with thunderstorms. Too bad Phil is not going to the Midwest. Red Oak Iowa is reporting a dewpoint of 82 right now... same with Council Bluffs. VancouverIslandSouth
Almost had some real rain today, but nope, at least not enough to measure. Up to 32 days without measurable precipitation now. Still ended up relative warm too at 75F, more than I was expecting given the pattern. TT-SEA
A little disconnect on the NAM... the 00Z NAM MOS guidance shows 81 on Saturday while the MM5 NAM shows 60s with low clouds all day. VancouverIslandSouth
On the plus side, looks like a brief chance for some rain today into tonight before what looks like another prolonged dry cycle. Still haven't had a high below 70F here this month, it will be interesting if today breaks that streak or we manage to edge out another 70F+ high. The airport seems to have had a couple earlier in the month on stronger sea breeze days.

TT-SEA
Interested to see what happens tomorrow. MM5 NAM shows solid low clouds all day long... not the mid-level clouds we had today but actually low clouds. NAM MOS shows 80 and GFS MOS shows 81 and the cool bias ECMWF shows 83. None of those highs are possible with solid low clouds all day like the MM5 MAN shows. VancouverIslandSouth
Finally had a decent rain shower just now, albeit very short. Need more thunder though. Have you had any thunder? Victoria had what looked like showers passing through all day, but in reality it didn't lead to much. However, there's been no shortage of cloudiness; only had a high of 68F today.
