Another interesting aspect of the visible satellite image this morning is that the Willamette Valley looks sort of like eastern WA and OR.   That is not clouds down there but a reflection of a dry landscape.

It always looks that way on visible. More a reflection of lack of treecover.

Actually it becomes more prominent when it dries out.

My +1.1 for July @ PDX could be looking pretty accurate. Maybe a little low.

 

Cool summer.

 

 

Honestly feels like the stage is set for cool and wet September now.

SEA is at +1.2 for the month but has only had 3 days below normal.   Most of the month has been in the 0 to +2 range... riding the line of perfection.

Drizzly here. Starting to really add up. 0.01".

Nice... except on summer weekend. :)

 

85 and sunny now on Lake Sammamish and its packed here.

85/62 is flat out gorgeous.

You are going to straight up freeze in Everett. Looks like solid low clouds tonorrow until afternoon as well.

 

87 with a dewpoint of 60 on the lake now and it is flat out gorgeous.
