6z looks much Different than 0z. Cutting a low thru Oregon next Monday. Then a stronger low offshore Tuesday and Wednesday with southerly flow and limited moisture

Yeah, if 6z is right that would probably be damaging east winds for PDX metro east of I-205/Gorge. Insane easterly gradient.

12z GFS is much further north with the low at hr 144. 964mb off the coast.

No snow on the 12Z here either.

I don't know about that, but at least it re-establishes Alaskan blocking. Drastically different than the GFS or Euro in that range, of course.

Wind field doesn't look expansive/strong enough for any 40+ gusts inland, unless I'm missing something. Still great to see the possibility there.
