The GEM has a major snow event in Western Oregon late week. Then a major snow event for W. Washington early next week.

The run ends with more snow in NW Oregon...

The GFS is on its own journey of discovery by hour 240... Before that it isn't bad.

My daughter is finally up... she came downstairs and asked me if I noticed that it snowed. :)

My daughter got up and screamed and pointed out the window for about 10 minutes...Of course she is 20 months old...

Typically I would be at work right now, but my wife got very ill this morning and went to the ER at about 630a. :(

Its killing me I couldn't go with her, but we don't really have a babysitter around here.

The Puyallup ferry on the Edmonds Kingston route just had their galley window blown out by a rogue wave in Admiralty Inlet. This is getting EPIC!

Just noticed that you are in Harbour Pointe... that is a beautiful area.

Feel for you guys in the PDX area that have been donut holed. My family sent a photo from Oceanside this morning. Beautiful snow down to the beaches.

Yes it is I live on the Northwest side of Harbour POinte golf course in a condo. It is beautiful and safe, we have about 6 inches of the fluffy stuff. It is like snow you get in Leavenworth not the usual slop ....

Just noticed that you are in Harbour Pointe... that is a beautiful area.

Total screw zone in Victoria, tons of snow to the south, plenty to the north and east and virtually nothing here. Our last shot is now disappearing as that band disintegrates on its northern edge. If the late week stuff doesn't pull through this will be a non-event here.

Does Victoria still have their long streak of above freezing high temps intact? I wonder if that may end today?

Flew back into Bozeman late last night from Vermont and arrived to -2F and snow.

Arctic air is really settling in here now. Currently -8F.
