It’s actually pretty low snow level near pdx, I would say 500-1000’. Not terrible if it were to pan out.

Looking forward to getting forcing out of the IO and subsequently killing off the +EPO attempts. I suppose when you’re unwinding from one of the strongest +IODs on record, that will take a bit more time than your typical, run of the mill event.

00z GFS Ensembles. Day 9-16. Decent signal for blocking as the positive anomaly retrogrades and remains near 160 W. Southeast US ridge. Obviously not ideal as the ridging is flat and amplification needs work. It's much better than previous runs. Baby steps. Heyyy, Pivotal loops!!!!
