TT-SEA
Unusually breezy here this morning as well... appears to be a NE wind and we don't usually have a NE wind in the summer unless its a really hot pattern. Today will struggle to get to 70. The low clouds scoured out really fast this morning... going to be beautiful day. 3 Quote **REPORTED CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES ARE NOT MEANT TO IMPLY ANYTHING ON A REGIONAL LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED**

Over the last 15 days... SEA is at just +0.4 while Minneapolis has been +8.7 over the same period. Side note... back in late April you predicted that the ridging would be focused over the middle of the country by the second of half of May. You have been nailing it for the last few months... no joke. Thanks. The intraseasonal cycles have been coherent and well expressed so far this year, hence the easier predictability. Hopefully that continues to be the case! 1 Quote Live Weather Cam: https://www.youtube.com/live/KxlIo8-KVpc?si=xKLCFYWbZieAfyh6 PWS Wunderground https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KMDBETHE62 PWS CWOP/NOAA: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=F3819&hours=
TT-SEA
This is the smoke map from the Canadian model for Tuesday evening. Alberta smoke is taking a far northern track now but not sure of the source of that smoke in the NE part of the country. Cascadia_Wx
Pretty day out. This morning has been breezy so far especially for this time of year. Seems like that’s more of a late afternoon and evening thing in the summer. On the cool side too, still just 58 after a low of 48. I like how the heat event for this coming week has been whittled down to 1-2 days. Will be interested to see where the pattern goes after that, would be nice to get some precip wrapping around from the ULL spinning over the SW later this week. 2 Quote Summer grows while Winter goes
