Man that’s scary! I remember seeing the Minnesota bridge collapse in the news. Before they redid the Sellwood bridge out here I would always have anxiety crossing it and would always try and speed up to get off the bridge ASAP. It was considered one of the most dangerous bridges in the world at the time and people were saying it could collapse at any moment. Now that they replaced it in 2016 it’s the only bridge here that can withstand a Cascadia Subduction Zone 9.0 earthquake.

The lower deck of the Ship Canal Bridge scares me a bit every time I take the express lanes in and out of Seattle.

LOL

It gets better immediately after day 10 and that pattern shown on your map could be a ULL sliding through CA in reality which is usually not too bad up here.

Looks like a western trough signal to me.

Picture gets muddy right at 360hrs but at that range it’s meaningless.

We got lucky here. It was a lot better than massive turds like 2014-15 or small turds like 2020-21.

Oops that was a typo, meant to say Fred, idk why but my stupid brain mixes up Phil and Fred. This is definitely NOT not the first time I've called Fred "Phil", or vice versa.

And I love how at first your post said "this place would be pretty boring without you, especially in the off season" but then you edited your post to what it is now because you decided that it was probably too kiss-a*s. Also didn't you think for awhile that I was dabears? Still wondering what they did to get banned and what I did that reminded you enough of them that you were confident I was dabears.

Dabears made a reappearance under another moniker during the January blast. Then disappeared again.

I think someone thought you were another central OR poster from the past who was repeatedly banned.

I recently read there were only about 30,000 wild turkeys left in the US in the 1930s. Now there are millions.

I recently read there were only about 30,000 wild turkeys left in the US in the 1930s. Now there are millions.

One of quite a few recovery success stories over the past century.

Did you know Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be our national bird?

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!
