FarmerRick
Just pouring out there! Very impressive snow rates at the moment, currently sitting at 4" and it's still coming down. I'm shocked when they extended the wsw they stopped where they did. Nice!! How's the wind? It's not too bad here yet, about 15mph or so. Just enough to make it drift a bit, but nowhere near as bad as sunday.

NEJeremy
It's going to be ending soon up here in Omaha. We're definitely going to miss that last heavy batch that's out to the west as it's drifting south. Lincoln looks good. Would have loved to hit 5"+ but just missed the heaviest area by 20-30 miles

By listening to the radio, you'd think Omaha was crippled by the storm of the century. LOL!

Geos
Plains as in Nebraska. Cloudy and mid twenties with a dusting expected. I guess if you were on the north side of KC metro, you could get 3". Hopefully the band holds together longer as it pass to the southeast. clintbeed1993
I pulled an all nighter to enjoy this amazing system. Had moderate to heavy snow for 6 straight hours starting at 3:30 A.M. Never have I seen it snow this heavy for so long without a break. Easily had 2 inch per hour rates at times. Probably got a good 7 or 8 inches. Unbelievable coming from a clipper.
gabel23
I haven't taken the official measurement, but I would say I picked up around 6". That puts my snow depth at just over a foot. I couldn't believe how hard it snowed, I would love to see more clippers but they just always seem they are few and far between. We usually don't see very many, but I must say I could get use to them! Too bad by this time next week all this snow will be gone! I'm happy though with how this winter has turned out, anything else we see is just icing on the cake!

NEJeremy
Ended up with 3". A little disappointed since the 5-6" amounts were so close. Still can't complain too much since that gives me 12" for the week. My wife got her 2nd snow day this week though as she is a teacher. Hard to trudge into work while she gets to stay home with my daughter!

Sven
I am a student at UNL and the roads around campus, walkways, etc., are in poor shape. Only one professor did not cancel class, but I cancelled it on my own by not going. But on snow day's timing really is key, and with the heavy rates this morning no shock nearly everyone called it off. Very ugly.

Andrew NE
@winterfreak. It looks like a nice band dropping towards KC. I know you have been missed by quite a few snows recently.
gabel23
Ended with 5" from this clipper. I must say this was a very impressive system. I would like to see a winter produce a major colorado low for us and repeated clippers for an extended period of time. My current depth is up to 13" and the process of melting will start Friday and should seriously deplete, if not completely melt away my snow pack by this time next week. Here are some totals from Hastings CWA.

Hawkeye
Quite the turnaround for you guys out in Nebraska. The Superbowl storm blew up farther west at the last minute, then it was promptly followed up by a potent clipper. 2 Quote season snowfall: 34.8" '22-23: 30.2" '21-22: 27.1" '20-21: 52.5" '19-20: 36.2" '18-19: 50.2" '17-18: 39.5" Average snowfall: ~30"
