Feb 2018 had a big SSW and we scored almost simultaneously I think...we didn't get much just a few inches and I dont really remember the pattern leading up to it but that timing looks more than just coincidence. -

One thing for sure is the weeklies reverse the pattern pretty quickly. The cold signal fully switches from the east to the NW in about a week.
