I mentioned this in the December thread - the ICON performed the best for this past system here. Euro/EPS and practically every other model within 48 hours were showing 2-3 inches. They never wavered on that. Some (Canadian and its companions) were showing 4-6+ inches. I thought I was relatively set. Meanwhile, the ICON showed either nothing or a trace and remained very consistent on that. We ended up with... nothing. Obviously not every situation will directly correspond to the next but felt it was worth sharing again as we try to make sense of the noise.

I did some more digging and yeah it can’t be December 1917. PDX didn’t record any snow during that month. I found the picture on this website, it looks like it’s from the City of Portland Auditor's Office. https://www.opb.org/news/series/greetings-northwest/bridgetown-snow-a-photographic-history-/ It actually has the picture twice. One caption just says 1917 and the other caption says Dec. 31, 1917. So it could be January or February 1917. PDX received snow during those months.

Looks like the rams aren’t going to play their starters so they can rest. Seahawks will probably still lose to them though.

Yeah we didn’t have any sort of internet access at our house yet at that point. I think we got a computer with dialup ability in 1997 or so.
