Was watching the Texans vs Ravens game and the Texans kept things tied during the first half. But during the second half the Texans defense was looking like the Seahawks defense.

Rooting for the 49ers to lose. Would love to see Detroit get to host the NFC Championship. It is an amazing feeling as a fan. Hope I'm not jinxing them, but they should have had the #2 seed. Would be amazing for them to take on their rivals at home. (And probably more interesting than any other potential match up.)

 

Still meh on AFC. I guess Bills because their fan base is still waiting too.

NBA markets =/= NFL markets. Like Portland could ever host an NFL team?  

Not sure if Jody will sell eventually, but she's no Howard Schultz. I didn't really like getting rid of Pete this season, but it does indicate that they don't see forward progress and are hungry for it so I guess I can appreciate that.

The only certainty is you can count on is never say never.  That said, I don't see the Seahawks going anywhere.  I'm sure if Jody decides to sell, there are plenty of billionaires in Puget Sound who would be willing to write a check (even a few getting together in the form of an "ownership group").

 

As for Coach Pete, I don't like it either.  The emotional fan part of me is still pissed, but I have watched a few sports commentators that have pointed out all the signs that the writing was on the wall. 

 

As for his replacement, sounds like all signs are pointing to Vrabel,  which doesn't sound like it would necessarily be a bad thing.

Nah. The NFL has moved on from being motivated by melodramatic stories and is now driven by one of their biggest advertisers-Vegas/sports books.

 

I really, really HATE the gambling ads. Makes the whole game sus and adds a stench of sleaze. Gambling is meh. Ok, fine, have it online or whatever. Buf advertising for it during the game is just gross somehow.
