Geos
It was supposed to be north of Omaha by 20-30 miles Cool, I hope the rain snow line ends up being 20-30 miles south tonight in SE WI. Nice area of heavy to moderate snow in central Iowa now. Temps actually fell off 2° after the sun disappeared. 34.7°/28° currently. Geos
Matching this snowfall map up to the radar and where it is snowing, the snow area should be a further south and west.  Colder air is getting pulled down around the low on the backside southeast of DSM. Liking the possibility to a nice one or two hour period of accumulating snow tonight. NEJeremy
here in Omaha, it was for less than an inch with the focus on heavier snow(1-2") in northeast Nebraska per the NWS. However our good friend Jim posted a video about the hi-res NAM showing a pocket of heavier snow just to the north of Omaha with 3-4" showing up on the model. It seems like this deformation band is bigger and stronger than initially expected. I think you alluded to this that the storm is moving a bit south of what was expected which would match up with the higher amounts going a bit south of Omaha.

gabel23
By far one of the most under the radar storms in a while. Not sure how much snow we got, but I'm guessing a couple of inches. We had a game in York tonight and there was pure whiteout in spots. I'm hoping my snow depth doesn't get depleted too much by the warm up this week......
