Tom
Already, my forecasts are calling for a good chance for snow on Wednesday and into Thursday. Advisory snows could be likely! Whopping 1.3"! Nice refreshing coating that covered all the dead leaves that had blown off from the previous wetter snow system. Hope to squeeze another 3" tonight? BTW: How much snow did ya pick up from yesterdays storm?! I came in with 4.8".

FYI: No mixing occur with this storm. I had all snow. The mix line stayed way far south from my area. Tom
Up to 17.7" at ORD officially for the season and we are half way through the month. It looks beautiful outside with the freshly fallen snow and some minor snow drifts. Morning sunrises this time of year with a glittering snow cover and a hot cup of coffee are the simple things in life that bring a smile to my face! Do we set a new record at Soldier Field today??? 2.5 hours till kick off time...gonna be close but the old record is 2F at kick off.

indianajohn
I was at the coldest bears game. It was a Monday night game Bears were losing and we were about to leave when the Bears out of all the days decide to tie it and go into overtime. We timed how long our cup of beer would take to freeze... one minute and 28 seconds LOL!! I had layer upon layers on and I was still cold. There was a guy sitting next to us kind of laughing at us. He knew we made a rookie mistake the reason why we were cold even though we had layers of clothes on was that we were standing on solid concrete I looked over at him and he had brought a piece of cardboard to lay on the concrete and stand on that. He had a spare piece of cardboard he let us use man what a difference it made!!!! So this is my daily service announcement when going to a cold bears game bring a piece of cardboard to stand on!!!
