That is just about the only way I like the snow a lot. The ground looks like it's raining but snow is falling. Kinda like these shots I took on 03/31/2015. It was nearly 40 out at the time. Took a stroll around downtown and it was nice.

It mostly comes down to when conditions get treacherous out there. Otherwise I wouldn't mind the snow in any form.

It's a Christmas miracle! Now hurry - go find another model that shows no snow for your location and be sure to post it!!

ECMWF is definitely not worth posting.   I am finding all of the strange and never-used models this morning.

Posting the map of what the best model shows... crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you post the corresponding precip map?

No.

I should be banned for posting ECMWF maps!

Its going to snow 20 inches in Seattle starting now.     I just know it is.

Now that's the Christmas spirit!!

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

The updated run of the 12z GEM looks nice as we head into January.

If that blocking verifies, I bet the US troughing is deeper.

Frozen water falling from the sky is serious business. It really isn't something anyone should be joking about.
