Think positive!

Sometimes dry air is the moistest air of all!!!

Dry air should be banned from winter.

It usually is here. The Pacific is moist.

You can have mine. Dry air cost me a blizzard last night.

My temperature just keeps climbing as the moisture streams into the area. Snow Wizzard Man tells me my thermometer is off by a few degrees but it is reading 42 in my back yard. That would take a hell of a lot of wet bulb cooling to bring snow down to the surface.

The NWS mentioning Puyallup in their write up was the kiss of death.

Thank you MERCER.

Dew Points are in the teens. I think NWS specifically mentioned Puyallup for you.

Still a chance many of us don't end up with much. I was getting worried there for a minute when it was snowing hard earlier.

I would never have predicted a few inches for Eugene.  Sometimes things break good, not bad.

And many times, things break bad.

Hey now, I'm not sitting here saying the low will trend north. I don't think it will. I wouldn't put any trust in the Canadian

Just giving you a hard time. Although I think there is a bit of a misconception here that we have done really well this winter so far in Portland/Vancouver. That hasn't been the case, south of Salem have been the big winners.

Radar is really filling in nicely now. Most in the the PDX area should see some steady moderate snowfall through the afternoon hours.

Amazing that Eugene just chaged over..

A little over an inch here now. About 1-2" in Salem. Probably going to have to head in soon and give employees rides to and from work because everyone is losing their minds.

Anyone from Washington out there today?

Hello?

Anyone?

This Oregon circle jerk with all the snow is outrageous.

We should have government mandated and regulated weather fairness laws.

You've had your snow.  Move along.

Time for PuyallupJon and Luvthesnow to get some action so they can build snow people.

2" snow on top of ~0.05" ice in Corvallis, still big flakes falling and no return to ZR.  This is our first "real" ground-whitening snowfall of the season; the first in December was mostly sleet and Wednesday brought about a half inch.

Temp steady at 28, dp 26.  Marys Peak at 4100 ft also reporting 28 dp 27 - fairly isothermal lower atmosphere at present.

There is no advantage to elevation today.   And in fact its actually a negative in most places.

34 degrees now over 4000 feet. Yeah, today elevation officially became irrelevant. ;)
