I was able to score a bit of frost.  It has already melted, however.  In shady areas, I still have about an inch and a half of mud.  It will probably stick around for the rest of the day.

The 12z ensemble has taken a huge step toward buying off on a quick hitting cold shot toward the middle of next week. I have been watching this possibility closely for a few days now. It ALWAYS LOOKED TO ME LIKE THE OPERATONALS WERE TRYING TO FIT A SQUARE PEG INTO A ROUND hole in that time frame.

Generally, as long as the soil can drain, spring crops like water, especially crops like Celery which is ~90% water. With Celery though, you have to keep them warmer, but they love boggy conditions.

The low track being shown by the latest models is about as good as it gets for snow in the Seattle area on Sunday morning. Looking at the chilly / dry air mass we already have over the area we should be good to go. It will be very interesting to see where the area of heaviest precip sets up.
