April Weather in the Pacific Northwest

Maybe a good time to head for Florida?

It will just follow me there. I bet it follows me to the PNW this summer too. Watch July 18th - August 6th for a heatwave (I’ll be in the area then).

Then watch for a crash when I leave.

Cooling off a little more quickly this evening since the wind has died off and the air is dry. Down to 59. Was still in the mid-60s at this time last night.

Have the windows open at night for the first time this year. It got way too hot in the house today.

I should visit Greenland. Guarantee a ridge will follow me there and make everything right with the world.

The EPS and GEFS are worlds apart in the long range. The EPS has much more cold air present on our side of the globe. The GEFS has a death ridge.

I thought the EPS had been warm through day 15 for at least the past 15 days?

Lol. You know, looking at the hindasts it does have a tendency to overamplify western ridges and overdeepen eastern troughs so far in 2018. Not sure why.

Complain. Fight for opinion superiority. Use acronyms. Make fun of people. Wish for snow/cold and lament the lack thereof. Report the weather, be it future, past or present.

So nothing would change. Give yourself more credit. ;)

Does weather even happen up there in the Mesosphere?

Too humid. The question is why your whiny wiener doesn't head on up?

Only 47 for a low this morning with a temp of 65 already. I actually went for a parking spot that will be shady later in the day.

Cue reminder from Tim that this weekend will be completely and utterly ruined by weather.

Not for me! We are already gone. But the timing is extraordinarily bad. Gorgeous all week and then pretty much raining or drizzling the entire weekend (particularly in my area) and then nice again next week.

But beggars can't be choosers. Just glad that we will not be home this weekend.

Sounds like this weekend might be a good one to take a trip to the east side of the mountains.

About 68 at work now. About 2-3 degrees cooler than this time yesterday...

Well considering all those years you spent living at various high altitude locales I'd double up on those self exams if I were you.

And the way things are lining up... we could do it all again next week. Nice during the week and cool and rainy on the weekend certainly looks possible.

We will be in Chelan two weekends from now.

It took you 2 hours to come up with this turd? You’ve lost your edge, man.

Could be another side effect of long term hypoxia. You only have so many neurons. Potential IQ decreases exponentially with each pathway you torch.

Chelan is really nice.

Thinking about going over to Leavenworth this weekend.

69 with a light NW wind right now. Needed that steady east wind today.

Beautiful in Charleston... 77 and partly cloudy. And this is under a fairly deep trough. I understand why Phil cheers for deep troughs in the summer over here.

In just 24 hours a strong marine push will be moving up the Willamette valley. It's almost over. :)

Hope we get plenty of those this summer too. They always offer needed relief.
